About Ourselves
In 2007 the Association of English Language Teachers and English Resource Center was created in Dnipropetrovs’k. The president of the Association is Shvydka Valentina.
The objective of our Association is to help teachers improve their teaching English through continuous professional development and collaborative learning projects to provide English language libraries, including materials such as video and audio tapes.
Support of our resource centre
Support for the research centre comes from US donations, ADU and Siena College.
Association Activities
Association members collaborate to share materials and teaching methods with each other. In addition, the Association invites trainers from the USA to participate in international professional collaboration. The association has hosted four such meetings at the Resource Centre. Some topics of discussion with our international partners were: “American Studies”, “Communicative learning”, “Socializing as an integral part of International communication “What works in the English language classroom”
